| Debbie and Trina, best friends and sisters-in-law, started Ring Around the Rosey Children's Consignment Sale in the Summer of 2003. After spending an unmentional amount of money on children's clothes and toys, they decided there had to be an easier, less expensive way to buy brand name clothes and toys without the brand name prices. Debbie discovered the Consignment way of shopping in her hometown, Little Rock, Akansas, and was immedietly hooked! She started helping out with a successful consignment sale close to her home and decided to "bring things north". The first Ring Around the Rosey Sale was in Sept., 2003, and even though small, was a success. They saw that there was a desire and a need for this type of sale in the area. There was a second sale that year in November and things got even bigger and better! Debbie lives in Texas with her husband, Keith, and their children, Faylyn and Seth. She and Keith are both doctors and they are active in many different areas of Ministry in their church. Trina and her husband, John, live in Daleville, where Trina is a stay at home mom for their children, Jacob, Aubrey, and Jenna. They are also actively involved in many areas of their church. Brandi King, a long-time friend of Trina's, joined RATR in the Fall/Winter Sale of 2006. Brandi is married to Bob and they live in Ohio with their son, Anthony. Brandi is a Premier Jewelry Representative and has lots of experience in sales and management. Marla Haughn has been involved with RATR since the beginning and has worked behind the scenes. She has 2 year old twins, Zack and Gabby,and an infant, Nathan. They live in Muncie. Pam Rheaume, another wonderful friend that regularly helps with RATR, lives in Muncie with her husband and their 4 children. Pam is a Pampered Chef consultant. We could not make RATR a success without the help and support of our friends, family and volunteers that have dedicated so much to our Sale. Marla, Brandi, Pam, Kim, Jill, Reesa, Anita, Jodi and Jodi, Tera, Barb, Gail, Jennifer, and many others have been long time volunteers that have gone the extra mile to help us. We have made many lasting friendships through RATR and are greatful for each of them. Portions of the proceeds from Ring Around the Rosey have been donated to several local and abroad Christian Ministries, including a Christian Orphanage in India, Daleville Christian Church, Millcreek Civic Center in Chesterfield, New Horizons Maternity Home, the Pregnancy Care Center, and the Christian Center in Anderson, Indiana. We have also helped out individual families by making donations directly to their churches. If you know of a family that could benefit from donations, please contact Trina. |
